There are thousands of people who are truly searching for marriage online so don't fall victim to a vicious scam making you lose faith in this method. If the management team believes that a specific profile is subject to false information and/or photos they will ban that user and delete the profile as quickly as possible making it a safe environment for the remaining users. Many people will sign up and get to know people and then ask for money etc to visit you as they can't afford it, never send out or give any money to anyone as the chances are you will never see them or your money again.
There are precautions taken to help keep it safe, some websites endeavor to manually check each profile looking closely at the information given to make sure they seem legit. Not only do they search through the scammers list which will give the ID's of some known scammers but they look at the setup of the profile as they often follow a basic structure to get maximum results, the picture being one of them. You will agree that it is easy for someone to change their name, address etc to make it seem like a different person but there are certain bits of information that you cannot change, these are the things you need to look out for. If you think you have caught a scammer you can contact the website and get their details loaded onto the scammer list to help prevent them from joining any sites of this sort and taking advantage of unsuspecting people. Remember to never give any money out, even if you think they are genuine as people can suddenly change and after all, you have even met them yet!

Those stories - are signatures of scammers. Send NO money. Scammers can get quite inventive and manipulative. Stay alert and use common sense - and you will not be scammed.
